Is a heatmap the same as an internet speed test?

No. A heatmap evaluates Wi-Fi radio coverage and related behavior. Internet speed also depends on the ISP, gateway, server and current traffic.

Can you survey an existing network?

Yes. Existing installations can be measured to identify weak areas and guide changes.

Do you need floor plans?
