What the work includes
Clean network design
Gateway, switch, access-point and PoE choices are matched to capacity, cabling and resilience requirements rather than selected in isolation.
Configuration and handoff
Networks, secure wireless access, updates, backups and administrative access are configured deliberately and explained at handoff.
Optional ongoing management
Monitoring and support can continue after installation so faults, updates and changes have a clear owner.

Common questions
Do you install customer-purchased UniFi equipment?
We can review existing or customer-purchased equipment, but it must fit the site, capacity and support plan. A review before installation avoids incompatible or undersized designs.
Can UniFi support cameras and door access too?
Yes. UniFi Network, Protect and Access can be planned together when that combination fits the property and operational requirements.
Where do you provide installation?
Understory IT is based in Northern Virginia and considers projects across Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. Travel and scheduling depend on scope and location.
